How do I create stock locations?

General

There are 2 types of stocklocations: Standard stock locations and consumer locations.

A standard stocklocation is used for those locations where goods are effectively in stock. These can then also be included in the random stock counts. Example: Cold storage, warehouse, freezer.

Basic data > Product

  • Click on the product and go to tab "Warehouse management".

  • At default stock location : the location is mentioned.

If the stock location you would like to use is not mentioned, you can create a stock location.

Creating stock locations

Basic data > Product > Stock locations

  • Click on 'New Entry'.

  • The following screen will open

  • Complete the required fields in the frame 'Algemeen'.

  • In the frame "Detail" it is possible to consider the location as a consumer location.

  • If you click on "Save", a "Print label" button appears.
