How can I add additional fields to link GS1?

A GDSN entry field is a special type of entry field that can be added multiple times to the product information.

For example, you can enter different packaging materials for a product instead of just one. However, only one selection can be made for a particular category.

Data can be entered at product and packaging level where the packaging level will override the product level (for the entire category).

 

Specifications > External data > GS1 GDSN

  • Select the GDSN category you want to add:

  • Select the additional fields you want to add and then click save. You will see that a green check mark is visible for a moment.

Go to the product - tab input fields and to the section GDSN input fields.

Now you will see that what you selected at the mapping GS1 GDSN - GDSN input fields is now visible here.

  • You can add this packaging info multiple times by clicking on the plus sign.

With the product you can see exactly the message that is forwarded to GS1 using the tab "Send to GDSN".

Choose your target market and click on the tab "preview".

By using the arrows you can open more or less.
