How do I add an observation?

Field check > Observations


In the observation overview, you can search by date.

To add a observation:

  • Click on the "New entry" button.

  • "General" tab.

    • Select a user at “Reporting by”

    • The status is always "New".

    • Enter the observation. Each observation is given a unique number. This is also visible in the overview.

    • You can add a file: just an image

    • Click on "Add”

 

You will now see that an additional tab "Actions" has been added and several buttons at the top.
You can link to an observation a non-conformity, a supplier complaint, customer complaint, intervention, corrective & preventive actions or a to do.
These then become visible in the "Actions" tab

 

  • Observation without actions:

    • If you check that there are no further actions (only possible if no actions have been linked yet), an accountability must be entered and it is no longer possible to link actions.

    • When unchecking the checkbox, it is again possible to link actions and the justification will also be removed.

 

  • Observation with actions:

    • If actions have been added, it is no longer possible to check the 'No actions needed' checkbox.

 

  • A observation can be set to 'Finished' if :

    • at least 1 action is linked

    • OR the checkbox 'No actions needed' is ticked and a justification is filled in

 

  • Reopen a finished observation:

    • Local Management > Company Data - tab Parameters - Chapter Fieldcheck you can define by means of a function who can reopen an observation.
