You can create a data group with its custom fields or with parameters. Can also be done with both. You can link products to it.

Basic data > Data groups - Click on “New entry”.

  • Enter the name of the data group.

  • If desired, you can link the data group to all products → then select “valid for all products”.

  • Defaults to “active”

  • Then click on “Save”

You now see 3 tabs: Custom fields - Parameters - Products

You can use the button “Link custom fields” to link a custom field to your data group.

Example: choose a custom fields - click on save - custom fields of type text is linked - storage temperature

Tab “Parameters”

Previously you could link a parameter to a product group; this is no longer. You can now link a parameter to a data group. (Or also still link it to a product)

Click on “Link parameter” and select your parameter you want to add - example:

The method of assigning parameters is the same method as it is with products.

You can override the value of a parameter with your product itself.

In products - tab parameters you see all parameters. those with an info icon are those of data groups. Those without info icon are the parameters on product.

Click on “Link product +” if you want to link a product.

With your product the data group will be visible in the tab “”data groups”.
