QD-SCAN: operation with separate management of stocks

If under LOCAL MANAGEMENT > Company data the parameter 'Separate management of departmental stocks' is on, QD-SCAN will take this into account when selecting lots.

If this parameter is checked, QD-SCAN will work for the following modules as follows :

Picking customer orders


In quasydoc a warehouse (department) can be set on a customer order :

The user will only see customer orders in the overview for which the warehouse (department) is empty, or for which a warehouse (department) has been set which the user is a member of.

  • if a warehouse or department has been set up for a customer order and the user is a member of this warehouse or department, then only lots from stock locations that are linked to this warehouse or department can be picked

  • if there is no warehouse set up for a customer order, then only lots from stock locations of departments where the user is a member can be picked

Stock movements

  • here only lots from the stock locations of departments the user is a member of can be selected and moved to stock locations of departments the user is a member of.

Receipt of goods

  • Only stock locations of departments that the user is a member of can be selected here

Adjust departments/stock locations of a user


In Quasydoc, the departments and stock locations can be set under HUMAN RESOURCES. Here the users can also be linked to the departments.

After adjustments, the user has to log in again in QD-SCAN to load these adjustments.
