How do I add banned additives?

General

When a company chooses not to use certain additives in the company you can set them as banded additive. The condition is that this additive should be in the list of ingredients.

If a banned additive is selected in an ingredient list it will be marked during the evaluation of the specification.

The specification cannot then be approved unless the additive is allowed anyway (reason required).

Possible reasons for this:

The concentration is so low
There is no alternative for this raw material

Specifications > Specification management > Banded additives

Click on "choose" and select the additives you want to add (= forbid)

These will then appear in the overview of prohibited additives.
